This year India is celebrating 150th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Rabindranath Tagore (7th May, 1861 — 7th August, 1941). He was a Poet Laureate, Poet & Writer, Nobel Prize Winner, International Humanist & Educator, Artist, Dramatist, Dance Choreographer, Music Composer, Song Writer, Singer, Philosopher, Spiritualist, Orator, Painter, Publisher.
Indian Cultural Centre (Embassy of India) in collaboration with Department of Culture, Art Vibes United, Alpha Max Academy & Schrijvers Groep’77 is organising Public School Art Competitions and Competitions in Creative writing (poetry or prose),as per following details:
May 9, 2011 Monday : Entries open for National School Creative Writing & Art Competition
May 31, 2011 Tuesday : Deadline for National School Competitions
The competitions would be held in Junior and Senior categories. The submissions must be original, unpublished works. Entries may be collected by the Dutch/English teacher of the participating schools and handed over at Indian Cultural Centre, Schneiders Howardsraat by May 31,2011 noon. Winners would be given attractive prizes including publication of submissions.
